Chauvet DJ COLORband Pix ILS Pixel-Mapping Strip Light
The COLORband Pix ILS gives each of its twelve tri-color LEDs its own address, so the same fixture is a pixel-mapped animation surface, a blinder and a plain wall washer depending on which of its ten DMX modes you select. At the low end three channels is all it needs; at the top, 41 channels expose every pixel for ShowXpress Pixels or any mapping software.
It draws 49 watts and power-links nineteen deep on a 120 V circuit, so a full upstage row is one cable run. High-frequency dimming keeps it flicker-free on camera, and with no fans or moving parts it stays silent through a speech. Control is ILS for automatic coordination with a GigBAR or ILS Command, the built-in RF receiver with an optional RFC or RFC-XL, D-Fi USB for wireless master/slave or DMX, or wired DMX on 3- or 5-pin XLR.
