Canon XA60 Professional Camcorder

The Canon XA60 is a compact professional camcorder that packs 4K UHD capture into a body small enough to run all day handheld. Its 1/2.3-inch type CMOS sensor and DIGIC DV6 image processor produce clean, oversampled HD along with true 4K, and the built-in Canon 20x optical zoom lens reaches from a useful wide angle out to 601mm equivalent for events, news gathering, documentary, and house-of-worship work. Advanced Hybrid AF keeps subjects sharp as they move through the frame.

Footage records in either XF-AVC for post-production workflows or MP4 for fast sharing, with 4K UHD written at up to 160 Mbps. Connectivity is built for the field: an HDMI output for monitoring or streaming, dual XLR inputs for professional microphones, and dual SD card slots for relay or backup recording. It is a self-contained one-operator rig that travels light without giving up pro audio and media redundancy.
