The RF400mm F2.8 L IS USM is a professional super-telephoto prime built for sports, wildlife, and news on the EOS R system. The fast f/2.8 aperture pulls in distant action under stadium lights and separates a subject cleanly from a busy background, while fluorite and Super UD elements hold contrast and color across the frame. Optical image stabilization corrects up to 5.5 stops, and two focus presets let you jump instantly back to a memorized distance.

Dual Nano USM focusing tracks moving subjects quickly and quietly, and the lens accepts the RF 1.4x and RF 2x extenders to reach 560mm or 800mm when you need more range. A drop-in 52mm filter holder sits at the rear rather than a large front thread. In the box are the E-180E cap, RF dust cap, the drop-in screw filter holder 52 (WIII) with a 52mm protect filter, the ET-155 (WII) hood, the LS400 soft case, and the wide strap B.
