The D87 is a dynamic supercardioid built for studio and live instrument work, with humbucking circuitry that rejects electronic interference from lighting rigs and power sources. An internal shock mount and reinforced all-metal grille keep handling noise and knocks from reaching the signal.

CAD includes a standard mic clip, a drum rim mount clip, and a shock mount stand adapter, so the same mic can go on a stand, a rim, or a boom depending on the source. A protective carrying pouch and 2-year warranty round it out.
