The D88 is CAD's live kick drum mic, built with one of the largest capsules in its percussion line. A TrueFlex diaphragm paired with a PowerGap neodymium magnet drives a strong output signal, which matters when a kick mic has to cut through a full band mix without extra gain.

Max SPL handling above 150 dB keeps it clean at stage volume, and the extended low end down to 20 Hz captures the full weight of a modern kick drum sound.
