BSS BLU-GPX General Purpose I/O Expander
The BLU-GPX exists for the system that has run out of contacts. It adds 36 control inputs, 23 logic outputs and 8 integrated relay outputs with normally open and normally closed terminals, plus 47 common connections and 12 reference connections for three-wire mode, so external wiring lands directly rather than being spanned across borrowed terminal blocks. Control inputs take contact closures for binary parameters, resistor ladders for multi-state parameters or potentiometers for continuous ones.
It runs the same palette of logic objects as the rest of the Soundweb London family in HiQnet Audio Architect. Two PoE-enabled Ethernet ports carry configuration, control, monitoring, primary power and redundant comms, with a 12 V DC connector for backup power and an RS-232 port for serial devices. The front panel has 48 software-programmable red/green/yellow LEDs, a programmable 80 x 16 monochrome LCD and a 4 kHz piezo buzzer for audible indication of user-defined events. The unit is EN 54-16 compliant for life safety applications.
