BSS BLU-BOB2 Soundweb London 8-Channel Analog Output Expander, 1RU
The BLU-BOB2 is the rack-mount version of the Soundweb London break-out box: eight line-level analog outputs taken off the 256-channel BLU link digital audio bus, in a 19 in single rack space with mounting ears. Front panel indication and rear panel connections are identical to the half-rack BLU-BOB1.
Output channel assignment is by six rear DIP switches selecting a consecutive block of eight, which keeps it out of HiQnet Audio Architect entirely. Cat 5e carries the bus 100 m between devices, and the BSS MC-1 fiber media converter takes it past 10 km on single-mode fiber. Power is the included 12 V DC adapter, wired through terminal block connectors.
