Blackmagic Fairlight Desktop Audio Editor

The Fairlight Desktop Audio Editor is the full-size standalone version of Blackmagic's Fairlight control panel, built for sound editors working against tight deadlines who need speed and precision that a mouse can't match. A 12-inch high-resolution LCD sits at the center of the panel with soft buttons and knobs around it, and the whole layout changes context automatically based on the task at hand, drawing on more than 20 years of professional audio engineering input into the design.

It connects over Ethernet straight to the host computer running DaVinci Resolve, with a USB-C port for configuration through Blackmagic's Fairlight setup utility and for firmware updates. Being a standalone unit rather than a console module, it works on its own at a desk or edit bay without needing a larger Fairlight console frame around it.
