Blackmagic 2110 IP Presentation Converter

The Blackmagic 2110 IP Presentation Converter puts every connection a speaker podium needs into a single box. A presenter connects a laptop over USB-C for both video and power, an HDMI output drives the room projector, and that output can switch between the local computer feed and the 2110 IP return feed coming back from the production. Balanced XLR microphone inputs and an XLR audio output tie the podium into the house PA, so one converter handles the talk, the slides and the sound.

The heart of the unit is a single RJ-45 10G Ethernet connection that carries SMPTE-2110 IP video to and from the switcher. That one link also powers the whole converter and can keep charging the connected laptop at the same time, which keeps podium cabling to a minimum.
