BirdDog 4K QUAD Four-Channel SDI NDI Encoder/Decoder

The BirdDog 4K QUAD packs four independent 12G-SDI channels into a single NDI encoder/decoder, so up to four SDI sources can be pushed onto or pulled off an NDI network at the same time. Each of the four 12G-SDI connectors is individually selectable as an input or an output, and the box carries full-bandwidth NDI up to UHD 4Kp60 along with every common HD format. A custom NDI silicon chip inside an aircraft-grade aluminum housing does the encoding, and a front-panel OLED display reports status at a glance.

An SFP+ expansion slot accepts fiber or copper modules from 1 to 10 GbE for long runs and high-density racks. Audio rides embedded over SDI and HDMI plus a 3.5mm output, NDI Tally keeps talent and operators in sync, and the unit runs from PoE+ or a DC supply. Note that the HDMI 2.0 port and the built-in cross converter are features of the single-channel 4K models, not the QUAD.
