AViPAS AV-3104IP 4D Joystick PTZ Camera Controller with IP and PoE

The AV-3104IP is a hardware camera desk for PTZ rigs that have outgrown a remote control. Its four-dimension joystick puts pan, tilt, zoom and lock under one hand, and an LCD screen shows which camera and preset is live rather than making the operator count clicks. Control runs over the network, so a control room does not need a serial spine to reach cameras on other floors.

It speaks both worlds. Over IP it addresses up to 255 cameras on IP VISCA or 125 on ONVIF; over serial it handles RS-232 and RS-422 with up to 8 VISCA or 255 Pelco devices at 1200 to 9600 baud. The LAN port supports PoE so a single Cat cable can carry both control and power to the desk position, and AViPAS backs it with a limited two-year warranty.
