Autoscript EPIC-IP17 17-inch Integrated Prompt and Talent Monitor System

The EPIC-IP17 puts the prompt screen and the talent feedback screen in one assembly instead of hanging the second display off a bracket, which is why it clears camera tilt that a bolted-on talent monitor fouls. The 17-inch prompt panel runs at 1500 nits and 1000:1, bright enough to stay legible under studio keys or outdoors, and the 17.3-inch talent monitor is full HD on friction hinges so the presenter can reset the viewing angle between takes and fold it under the prompt monitor when it is not wanted. Drive electronics live in the prompt monitor, which is what keeps the talent display shallow and its power draw low.

Script reaches the head over LAN directly from WinPlus-IP, so there is no scroll box in the chain and every prompter on the floor stays in step; 2x HD-SDI and 2x CVBS are there for legacy on-air feeds and external scroll engines. Timecode arrives as LTC or NTP, with VITC and D-VITC optional, and four tally lights set into the housing give roughly 270 degrees of on-air indication. Power is a 4-pin XLR at 12-16.8VDC drawing 48W. The package ships with the integrated monitors, the carbon fibre hood and glass, the mounting system and camera carriage assembly for ENG cameras and camcorders, the tally sensor and cable, and the cable tray.
