Audio-Technica BP40
The BP40 is a large-diaphragm dynamic broadcast microphone built to give announcers and podcasters a rich, condenser-like voice from a rugged dynamic capsule. Its hypercardioid pattern tightens pickup on the presenter and rejects room reflections and off-axis noise. Patented floating-edge construction lets the large diaphragm move freely for a full, natural low end and smooth response.
A humbucking voice coil rejects electromagnetic hum from nearby gear, which matters in a busy studio. A multistage internal windscreen with an optimized capsule position handles plosives so hard consonants stay clean. It connects over a standard 3-pin XLR output and needs no phantom power, making it a drop-in upgrade for any broadcast or podcast chain.
