Audio-Technica 700

The 700 Series Freeway is Audio-Technica's frequency-scanning UHF wireless line, giving performers and presenters eight frequency-coordinated channels plus automatic scanning to find an open one. The ATW-R700 receiver runs True Diversity reception, switching between two antennas to hold the stronger signal and cut dropouts, with Tone Lock squelch to keep the channel silent between cues.

Systems pair the receiver with the ATW-T701 UniPak body-pack, for guitar, lavalier, or headworn use, or the ATW-T702 handheld dynamic microphone/transmitter, all tuning across 542.125-561.250 MHz (TV channels 26-29). Working range runs to roughly 300 feet. The 700 Series has been discontinued and replaced by Audio-Technica's System 10 digital wireless; call for current availability.
