Audio-Technica BP3600 Immersive Audio Microphone
The BP3600 arranges eight compact hypercardioid condenser capsules into a cube, each 3.5 inches long and equidistant from the center, 15 cm apart, to capture immersive and object-based audio from a single mount point instead of rigging eight separate mics. Each capsule keeps its own excellent high-frequency response while staying small enough that the whole array remains practical to fly or stand on a film, broadcast, or live sound set.
Audio comes out through a single 16-pin LEMO connector, and the standard BP3600 SKU includes a 5 m LEMO-to-XLRM breakout cable with color-coded ends so each capsule's channel is easy to trace on a console; BP3600/MIC is the same array sold without that cable for a production that already owns one or needs a different length. Both include an AT8476 stand clamp, a 5/8-inch to 3/8-inch adapter, eight AT8177 windscreens, and a Case Style R14 for transport.
