Audio-Technica ATW-DT3202 D50 Handheld Transmitter
The ATW-DT3202 is the handheld transmitter for the D50 digital UHF system. The capsule threads on, so the same transmitter can carry the ATW-C510 dynamic for a rock vocal or an Artist Elite condenser head for a soloist, and a rental inventory is re-voiced by swapping heads rather than by buying second transmitters.
The link tunes across DF2: 470.125 to 607.875 MHz with AES256 encryption, 2.1 ms typ of latency in standard mode and 0.1% or less (at 1 kHz, -20 dBFS) of distortion. Power is a custom lithium-ion battery that charges in the transmitter, in the ATW-CHG6 two-bay station, or separately in the ATW-CHGA6 charger. Versions with charging contacts sit in a charging station without the battery being removed.
