Audio-Technica ATW-DT3201 D50 Body-Pack Transmitter
The ATW-DT3201 is the body-pack transmitter for the D50 digital UHF system, taking a lavalier, a headworn mic or an instrument cable on its input connector. Its two input paths are specified separately - ATW-DT3201 (Mic input): 120 dB, A-weighted, typical ATW-DT3201 (Inst. input): 109 dB, A-weighted, typical ATW-DT3202: 120 dB, A-weighted, typical ATW-DT3207: 120 dB, A-weighted, typical - because a guitar and a lavalier ask different things of a preamp, and the pack is set for whichever it is carrying.
The link tunes across DF2: 470.125 to 607.875 MHz with AES256 encryption and 2.1 ms typ of latency in standard mode. Power comes from a custom lithium-ion battery that charges in the pack, in the ATW-CHG6 two-bay station, or on its own in the ATW-CHGA6 charger. Versions with charging contacts drop into a charging station without being opened, which is what makes a large inventory turn around overnight.
