Audio-Technica ATW-B80WB In-Line RF Booster Pair
Run an antenna cable far enough, up through a truss or down a long conduit run, and it bleeds off signal before it reaches the receiver. The ATW-B80WB is a pair of in-line boosters that sit in that cable path and make up the difference: a gain button on each unit switches between +6 dB and +12 dB of amplification across the full 470-990 MHz UHF band, so an installer can dial in exactly enough boost to offset the run.
Each booster draws its power from the 12V DC that's already present on the antenna cable, supplied by the wireless receiver or an antenna distribution system, so there's no separate power supply to run. Metal construction keeps out RF interference that could otherwise leak into the signal path, wideband filtering keeps the amplifier from boosting out-of-band noise along with the signal, and a power-active LED confirms it's live. Standard BNC connectors make it a drop-in addition to an existing antenna run.
