Audio-Technica ATW-R1100 System 10 Digital Wireless Receiver
The ATW-R1100 is the receiver at the center of Audio-Technica's System 10 line, running fully digital at 24-bit/48 kHz over the 2.4 GHz band, a range completely free of the TV-channel interference that can plague UHF wireless. Three layers of diversity protect the link: frequency diversity sends the signal on two dynamically allocated frequencies, time diversity repeats it across multiple time slots, and space diversity uses two antennas on both transmitter and receiver, so dropouts are rare even in a busy RF environment.
Up to eight of these systems can run together in the same room without manual frequency coordination or group selection, which makes System 10 a fast setup for multi-channel events. The receiver itself keeps it simple: volume control, AF Peak and Pair indicator lights, and both balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4-inch outputs with independent level control on the back panel.
