Audio Technica ATCS-A60RX Long Range Receiving Unit
The ATCS-A60RX is the receiving half of Audio-Technica's long-range antenna system for the ATCS-60 infrared conference system. It picks up the infrared signal broadcast by a companion ATCS-A60TX transmitting unit and hands it off to the ATCS-A60MX mixer, letting a room extend infrared coverage by up to 20 meters beyond a standard antenna's reach.
The receiver is compact and visually unobtrusive, designed to mount close to its matching transmitter for clean, symmetrical antenna placement around a room. It draws power and exchanges data with the ATCS-A60MX over a single BNC cable, so adding coverage does not mean running a separate power line. Up to four A60RX units can be connected to one A60MX mixer, and because the system is optical rather than RF, the signal cannot be intercepted from outside the room.
