Audio-Technica AT4021
The AT4021 is a small-diaphragm cardioid condenser designed for critical studio and live applications where precision matters. It offers a flat, extended frequency response, a high maximum SPL, and a wide dynamic range, so it stays clean and accurate on demanding sources. The low-profile body is easy to position discreetly on drum overheads, acoustic instruments, or a live stage.
Its cardioid pattern isolates the source and rejects bleed from a busy tracking room or backline. It handles up to 146 dB SPL, with a 10 dB pad extending that to 156 dB for the loudest material. It runs on phantom power over a 3-pin XLR output, integrating easily into any professional rig.
