AKG GN50 50cm Gooseneck Module for DAM/DAM+ Capsules
The GN50 is a bare gooseneck body, not a complete microphone: it holds one of AKG's interchangeable CK-series DAM or DAM+ capsules on a 50 cm neck, the long-reach option for a standing lectern, a tall dais, or any position where the capsule needs to clear a bulky script or laptop on the surface below. The capsule is chosen and fitted separately, and can be swapped later without replacing the gooseneck.
Three base styles cover different installs. The bare GN50 has no built-in phantom adapter and pairs with a separate power module wired into the furniture. The GN50 CS instead has an in-line XLR phantom adapter feeding a mini XLR connector at the base, which avoids drilling a large mounting hole or hard-wiring the gooseneck in. The GN50 M terminates in AKG's gold-plated DAM+ system connector for a tool-free connection to a DAM+ power or hanging module.
