AKG PAE M Reference Phantom Power Module
The PAE M is the module that turns an AKG DAM+ gooseneck into a finished microphone: it takes phantom power in over a gold-plated three-pin XLR and passes the signal on, across a voltage range wide enough for essentially any microphone mixer on site. It is designed for both fixed installation and mobile use.
A switchable bass roll-off cuts the structure-borne rumble that a table or a lectern feeds into a gooseneck, which is the noise that makes an otherwise good conference channel sound muddy. The integrated system connector uses gold-plated contacts and mates with every gooseneck module in the DAM+ series as well as the HM1000 M hanging module, so one module type covers a table position and a ceiling position in the same room.
