AJA V2Digital 10-Bit Analog-to-Digital Mini-Converter

The V2Digital brings analog video into a digital plant with clean 10-bit conversion, digitizing component or composite sources to SD or HD-SDI. It uses a full 10-bit data path with 2x oversampling and a 4-line adaptive comb filter for high-quality decoding of composite signals; the filter can be switched to 2-line or notch modes when minimum delay matters more than filtering. It is a reliable way to fold legacy analog gear, decks, and cameras into an SDI workflow.

Inputs cover YPbPr (SMPTE, EBU-N10), Betacam, and RGB component, along with NTSC, PAL, and Y/C (S-Video) composite. Output is SD or HD-SDI in NTSC, PAL, 720p, 1080i, and 1080PsF standards; note that the V2Digital converts analog to digital only and does not up-convert or down-convert between SD and HD. Configuration is set with on-unit DIP switches or remotely over USB with AJA Mini-Config, and a universal 5 VDC power supply is included.
