Allen & Heath ZED-428 4-bus analogue mixer for live sound and recording

The ZED-428 is Allen & Heath's 4-bus analogue mixer for live sound and recording, built around 24 mic/line channels with inserts and 2 stereo channels for larger bands, houses of worship and installs that need extra channel count. A 2 in / 2 out USB audio interface handles multitrack recording or playback straight into a laptop.

Six aux sends (two pre-fade, two post-fade and two switchable) cover monitors and effects, four sub groups and a 7x2 matrix give flexible routing to the room, and XLR main outputs with insert points feed the PA. Every mono channel carries 4-band EQ with a sweepable mid, and durable 100mm faders keep the surface road-ready.
