Allen & Heath GPIO Remote Interface
GPIO is Allen & Heath's general-purpose I/O switching interface for tying an AHM matrix processor, dLive system or Avantis mixer into third-party hardware. Eight opto-isolated inputs and eight normally open relay outputs (one switchable to normally closed) sit on industry-standard Phoenix connectors, alongside two +10V DC outputs, covering EVAC alarm and system mute, broadcast on-air lights and fader-start logic, and theatre automation for curtains and lighting.
Up to eight GPIO units network onto a single AHM, dLive or Avantis system over Cat5, run PoE-powered, and install freestanding or in a 19-inch rack at 1U half-width. Functions are configured from AHM System Manager, Avantis Director or dLive Director software on PC or Mac, or directly from an Avantis mixer or dLive Surface.
