Allen & Heath dLive S Class MixRacks
The dLive S Class MixRack is the engine at the heart of a dLive system, holding the DSP, I/O and network connections while one or more Surfaces provide the control. Every dLive MixRack shares the same 96kHz XCVI FPGA core: 128 input channels, 64 mix outputs and a configurable 64-bus architecture, with class-leading 0.7ms analogue-to-analogue latency and phase-aligned signal paths. Bus processing latency is automatically compensated for clean, phase-coherent summing at the mix outputs.
The S Class range differs by onboard analog I/O and redundancy. The DM0 has no local mic/line I/O and is driven entirely by remote stageboxes, while the DM32, DM48 and DM64 add 32, 48 or 64 mic/line inputs with 16, 24 or 32 line outputs respectively. All carry three I/O port slots for expansion cards, redundant Surface Link and DX Link options, and dual power supply support for touring, broadcast and permanent installation. Every S Class rack takes up to 28 DX I/O expanders through DX Hub modules or DX Link cards and drives up to four dLive Surfaces, one on the integrated gigaACE socket and three more on optional gigaACE cards.
