Allen & Heath QU-16C Digital Mixer
The Qu-16C is a compact digital mixer that packs a full live and studio workflow into a 19-inch rackmountable chassis. Sixteen AnalogiQ digitally controlled preamps feed 16 mono channels plus 3 stereo inputs, and every input carries trim, polarity, HPF, gate, insert, 4-band parametric EQ, compressor and delay so a whole show is shaped from the surface. An 800 x 480 color touchscreen and its dedicated rotary encoder sit at the center, with 17 motorized ALPS faders giving instant access to channels and masters across two layers.
Twelve mix outputs on XLR cover LR, four mono mixes and three stereo mixes, and four stereo RackFX engines deliver reverbs, delays, modulators and more. An integrated 18-channel, 48kHz/24-bit multitrack recorder captures straight to a USB drive, while the 24 x 22 USB audio interface handles DAW work and virtual soundcheck. The Qu-16 pairs with the QU-16 RK19 rack kit and expands over dSNAKE to Allen & Heath remote stageboxes and expanders.
