VariZoom VZ-STEALTH-LX LANC Zoom and Focus Controller

The VariZoom VZ-STEALTH-LX is a mini zoom and focus joystick controller for LANC cameras, built around a pressure-sensitive throttle. That throttle lets an operator ease into a zoom in either direction, hold a steady speed, or accelerate straight into a crash zoom, while a push-button rocker under the thumb handles focus for precise adjustments within a shot. A lightweight body houses VariZoom's third-generation proprietary electronics.

The LX adds three controls beyond the standard Stealth: autofocus on/off, an on-screen data toggle, and iris adjustment with F+ and F- keys, alongside record and standby. A built-in 40-inch LANC cable connects to the camera's 2.5mm remote port, and the whole unit clamps to tripod handles up to 1.25 inches wide. It works with many Sony, Canon, and select JVC camcorders as well as compatible Blackmagic and Panasonic bodies, and needs no setup or power.
