VariZoom VZ-PRO-L Pistol-Grip Zoom and Focus Controller for LANC

The Varizoom VZ-PRO-L is a pistol-grip zoom and focus controller for LANC-equipped camcorders, built in an industrial-grade aluminum housing with an isolated circuit board so it holds up to heavy field use. Its patented control is a rocker paired with a speed dial: the rocker acts as an on-off switch that zooms toward wide or telephoto, while the dial either presets a zoom speed for repeatable ramps or is rolled with the index finger to change speed mid-move. That combination gives full-range, flawless zoom feel that a simple two-speed rocker cannot.

A large record and pause button with an indicator light, manual focus buttons on the underside, and a power on-off toggle for standby put the core camera functions under the operator's fingers. The unit connects through a 2.5mm LANC remote port on a 40-inch cord and mounts with a heavy-duty quick-release clamp that grips tripod pan bars and rods up to 1.25 inches.
