Vaxis Storm 1000S Antenna-Free HDMI/SDI Wireless Video System

The Storm 1000S drops the external antennas. On a built-up camera the flag antennas on a wireless transmitter are the first thing to catch on a doorway or a matte box and the first thing to break; the 1000S puts them inside the housing instead, and adds a built-in 3/8 inch mounting bracket on the transmitter so it goes straight onto a rod clamp or a cheese plate.

The transmitter has an SDI input with SDI loop out plus an HDMI input; the receiver puts out two SDI and one HDMI, so the video village and a second monitor are covered off one receiver. Maximum range is 350 metres, which suits studio, interior and controlled exterior work rather than a long open-field throw. Available as a one-to-one kit or as a transmitter with two receivers.
