Universal Audio Sphere DLX Modeling Microphone
The Sphere DLX is the wider version of UA's modeling microphone system, capturing both halves of its dual-capsule element so the Sphere plug-in can reconstruct 38 sought-after ribbon, condenser and dynamic microphones from one take.
Mic type, polar pattern and off-axis behaviour stay editable after tracking. It reaches 140 dB maximum SPL with the -20 dB pad engaged, has a 7 dBA equivalent noise level, and runs on 44 to 52V phantom at 5 mA per channel.
