Tightrope Cablecast CBL-VIOLITE-CG-SVR-800 VIO Lite Character Generator Server

The Cablecast VIO Lite is the entry point of the VIO server line, a two-channel unit in a compact 2RU chassis. This CG server variant is set up for character-generator and bulletin-board duty rather than full video playout: it runs channel branding, crawls, station bugs, and bug text along with full-screen bulletin-board graphics for a Carousel channel, driven by Cablecast and Carousel server software.

Like the rest of the VIO line it natively handles RTP, RTMP, and HLS streaming formats and performs SD to HD up-conversion and HD to SD down-conversion without transcoding. Storage is 8TB of internal disk with a 250GB solid state system drive, so the box has room to hold and serve the graphics and media a bulletin-board channel needs.
