Cablecast CBL-VIO2-800 VIO 2 Video Server
The Cablecast VIO 2 is a two-channel video server that can be configured as two outputs or as one encode and one playout channel, so a station can size it to either dual playout or a record-and-air workflow. It runs full Cablecast automation for scheduling, content management, and cross-platform publishing, and it natively decodes, plays, and records network streaming formats such as RTP, RTMP, and HLS. It handles SD to HD up-conversion and HD to SD down-conversion without transcoding and provides channel branding with crawls, station bugs, and bug text.
Storage is 10TB of internal RAID5, expandable to 40TB, and the chassis carries redundant power so a single supply failure does not take the channel off air. Everything is scheduled and managed from Cablecast's web interface.
