The WM-2000 intercom stations are designed for stationary, wall-mounted installation in standard two-gang electrical boxes. The WM-2000 provides switch-selectable access to either of two intercom channels. The WM-2000 is ideal when users need to access the intercom system from strategic locations where a desktop station would be unsuitable, but they do not wish to carry around a beltpack station. Since all of the intercom electronics are in the intercom station, the user need only connect a headset or telephone style handset to begin communicating. Alternatively, a headset or telephone handset can be left at the station. Headsets are available here: Telex Headsets.
The WM-2000 is identical to WM1000, except includes channel-select switch with 2-color back-light to indicate party line one or two. Mounts in a standard electrical outlet box (doublewide type). High-quality audio system with mic limiter circuit. Back-lit control buttons for low-light operation. Talk and listen buttons with momentary/latching operation. Listen volume control. Call send button with call receive indicator light. Call receive beep tone with on/off selection. Mic kill receive with on/off selection. Side tone trimmer. Quick-connect, wire clamp terminals for party line wire connections. 4-pin male XLR headsets (balanced or unbalanced microphone). Powered from party line. Local power optional. Clear-Com compatible.

Dynamic-Mic Headset Connector
4-pin male XLR connector accepts headsets with monaural headphones and either a balanced or unbalanced dynamic microphone.

Telex Audiocom / Clear-Com Selector Switch
The selector switch sets the intercom station for compatibility with either Telex Audiocom or Clear-Com channel connector pin-outs, channel power requirements, and call signaling requirements.

Headset Microphone Type Selection: Balanced or unbalanced microphone may be selected.
