Telex TT-44 Synthesized Wireless IFB Transmitter
The TT-44 is a synthesized wireless IFB transmitter that sends program and director cues to talent on 16 selectable channels in the 60 to 72 MHz VHF band. Synthesized tuning lets an operator move the system clear of local interference and coordinate multiple units, and the transmitter is authorized under Part 74 of the FCC rules for professional broadcast use.
It pairs with the belt-worn TR-34 tunable receiver, which runs 16 to 20 hours on two AA batteries and delivers a program feed to an announcer earset. An antenna threads onto the transmitter through low-loss coax such as the CXU-25 to place the antenna where coverage is best.
