Tascam VS-R265 4K Streaming Encoder, Decoder and Recorder

The VS-R265 encodes, streams, decodes and records 4K UHD at 3840x2160p, using HEVC so 4K travels at roughly the bandwidth H.264 needs for HD. It is the unit for a venue that has moved its camera chain to UHD but still has to fit the stream through an ordinary building connection.

RTMP, RTSP and HLS are supported with three simultaneous RTMP streams for simulcast or backup. HDMI input is v1.4a and output is v2.0, balanced Euroblock carries analog audio, and recording is to internal storage, SD/SDHC or USB as MPEG2-TS or MPEG4.
