Tascam MH-8 8-Channel Headphone Amplifier

The MH-8 drives eight stereo headphone outputs at 250 mW per side into 32 ohms, which is enough level for a tracking room or a broadcast studio where the cans have to compete with the room. Two balanced inputs arrive on XLR and 1/4 inch TRS pairs and feed all eight channels.

Each output selects input 1, input 2, its own direct input, or a combination, so one unit can serve a band where two players want the click and the others want the mix. Four TRS balanced foldback outputs carry the feeds onward to another amplifier or a stage box. It occupies one rack space, draws 36 W and weighs 8.4 lb.
