Symetrix ARC-PSe ARC Wall Panels Power Supply
The ARC-PSe solves the two problems that show up once an ARC install grows: too many panels for a single DSP port to power, and cable runs too long for the DSP to drive on its own. It takes the serial control signal from the DSP on one RJ-45 input and redistributes both power and data across eight RJ-45 outputs, sending it out to the wall panels over ordinary CAT5 or CAT6 cable. Symetrix recommends it for systems with more than four ARCs, or whenever any number of panels sit a long distance from the DSP.
Outputs deliver 24 V DC with 1.0 A shared across all eight ports, and the supply accepts 100 to 240 VAC line input. Panels can be wired in a star, a daisy-chain, or a hybrid of the two, and Symetrix's ARC Power Calculator helps you plan panel counts and cable distances. The half-rack chassis fits an optional 1U rack tray or mounts to a surface with an optional bracket.
