Symetrix ARC-EX4e Modular Remote Control Expander
The ARC-EX4e is Symetrix's button expander, a low-cost way to add four more controls to an existing ARC wall panel without adding another full RJ-45 home run to the DSP. Functionally it is identical to an ARC-SW4e: four momentary buttons with four matching status LEDs, ready to handle mute, source selection, or preset recall. Where a room outgrows a single knob or switch plate, the EX4e adds capacity a button at a time.
It chains to a host panel rather than to the DSP directly. Up to four ARC-EX4e units can be combined with an ARC-K1e, and up to three with an ARC-SW4e, so one wall location can grow into a multi-gang control cluster. The EX4e mounts in a standard U.S. electrical box and accepts a single-gang Decora faceplate, which is sold separately so it can match the host panel.
