Sony BRAVIA Theater Trio (HT-A8) Three-Unit Home Theater System
BRAVIA Theater Trio replaces a soundbar with three separate front units, a centre and left and right, linked wirelessly, so the front stage spreads as wide as a large screen. Each unit carries three channels of digital amplification for nine in total, in a 3.0.2 configuration. Sony developed its sound in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment, and 360 Spatial Sound Mapping creates up to 24 phantom speakers positioned to a cinema layout.
Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decode natively, and the system connects over one HDMI input and one eARC/ARC output with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 6.0 supporting AAC, SBC and LDAC. BRAVIA Theater wireless subwoofers and rear speakers can be added.
