BRAVIA Theater Bar 6 arranges six speaker units as 3.1.2 channels: three front-firing drivers including a dedicated centre for dialogue, two up-firing drivers that bounce height channels off the ceiling, and a wireless subwoofer. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decode natively so height content in streams and discs is actually rendered rather than simulated.

Connection to the TV is an eARC/ARC HDMI output, with an optical input for other sources and a USB port for updates; Bluetooth 5.3 with SBC and AAC handles phones. The bar weighs 3.1 kg and the 210 x 388 x 388 mm subwoofer 7.7 kg.
