Sony BRAVIA Theater Bar 8 (HT-A8000) 11-Speaker Soundbar

BRAVIA Theater Bar 8 carries eleven speaker units, including two up-firing drivers and X-Balanced woofers, powered by eleven channels of S-Master HX digital amplification. 360 Spatial Sound Mapping creates phantom speakers around the room from the single bar, and Sound Field Optimization calibrates for room size, acoustics and seating position. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X are supported, with IMAX Enhanced arriving by update.

The HDMI input and eARC/ARC output pass 8K/60 and 4K/120 at 40 Gbps with HDCP 2.3, so a games console can route through the bar. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 are built in, and an S-Center Out lets a compatible BRAVIA TV act as the centre channel. The bar measures 1,100 x 64 x 113 mm and weighs 4.7 kg; optional BRAVIA Theater subwoofers and rear speakers pair wirelessly.
