Sony BC-DWX1 Dual Battery Charger for DWT-B03R

The BC-DWX1 charges two NP-BX1 packs for the DWT-B03R bodypack transmitter. What separates it from a generic charger is the network: it takes power over Ethernet to IEEE802.3af, so a rack of chargers needs one cable each, and it reports charge state back to Sony's Wireless Studio software where an audio supervisor can see which packs are ready without walking to the charging station.

A storage charging mode holds cells at a safe level between productions rather than leaving them full, which is how lithium-ion packs last more seasons. It also runs on 12 V DC from an AC adaptor, sold separately, and multiple units tie together for a charging shelf.
