Softron S|AMP Bundle (AMP Server + 4x OnTheAir Video + Dongle)
S|AMP bundles Softron's AMP Server with four OnTheAir Video licenses and a dongle, giving a facility everything it needs to run playout channels under external automation in one line item. AMP Server exposes playlists as media folders over the Advanced Media Protocol and VDCP (1.2.4 and later), so a Sony, Ross, or Grass Valley switcher and its automation system can call up media the same way they would from any other AMP-compliant server, while OnTheAir Video does the actual mixed-codec, mixed-frame-rate playout underneath.
One AMP Server instance can manage up to eight OnTheAir Video instances, including remote ones, with playlists organized per channel, per show, or shared across channels on network storage. The bundle's four included OnTheAir Video licenses cover four of those channels outright; scaling past four means licensing additional OnTheAir Video seats. It also integrates with OnTheAir MOS Gateway for newsroom-driven workflows, and runs on macOS Monterey through Tahoe on both Intel and Apple silicon.
