Sony UWP-D21 Wireless Lavalier System (UC90)
The UWP-D21 is a complete bodypack wireless system built for run-and-gun ENG, documentary, and event work. It pairs the UTX-B40 bodypack transmitter with the URX-P40 camera-mount receiver and bundles an ECM-V1BMP omnidirectional lavalier, so talent can be miked and on the air in minutes. Sony backs the proven analog UHF transmission with proprietary digital audio processing for clear, natural sound and the low latency a camera operator needs.
Setup is fast: NFC sync matches transmitter and receiver with a tap, true diversity reception keeps the signal stable as the subject moves, and tuning spans a 72 MHz band with 2,772 selectable UHF frequencies to find clean spectrum. This UC90 kit tunes 941-960 MHz. Both units run on two AA batteries, and the package ships with the UTX-B40 bodypack, URX-P40 receiver, ECM-V1BMP lavalier, and mounting accessories.
