Sony UWP-D26 Wireless Combo System (UC14)
The UWP-D26 is a two-transmitter kit for crews that need to switch between a lav and a plugged-in mic without carrying two systems. It combines the UTX-B40 bodypack, the UTX-P40 XLR plug-on transmitter, and the URX-P40 camera-mount receiver, plus an ECM-V1BMP omnidirectional lavalier. Use the bodypack and lav for hands-free talent, or clip the plug-on onto a handheld or shotgun for interviews and wireless booming. Only one transmitter operates on the channel at a time.
The UTX-P40 supplies 48V so it can power condenser microphones, NFC sync pairs each transmitter to the receiver with a tap, and true diversity reception holds the signal steady. Tuning covers a 72 MHz band with 2,772 selectable UHF frequencies; this UC14 kit works 470-542 MHz. Every unit runs on two AA batteries, and the package includes the UTX-B40 bodypack, UTX-P40 plug-on transmitter, URX-P40 receiver, ECM-V1BMP lavalier, and accessories.
