Shure SM57-LCInstrument Microphone
The SM57 is the cardioid dynamic instrument microphone that turns up on more stages and in more studios than almost any other mic made. Its response is tuned for the clean reproduction of amplified and acoustic instruments, from a snare drum and guitar cab to a horn section, and it handles high sound-pressure sources without breaking up. The uniform cardioid pattern locks onto the source in front of it and pushes back the rest of the stage, which keeps bleed and feedback under control.
A pneumatic shock-mount system cuts handling noise, and the die-cast steel body shrugs off the abuse of daily gigging and touring. It connects over a standard 3-pin XLR and needs no power. The SM57-LC ships with an A25D break-resistant swivel stand adapter that rotates 180 degrees and a zippered storage pouch.
