Sennheiser i15-L Gooseneck Microphone System
The Sennheiser i15-L is a complete gooseneck table microphone system for lecterns, conference tables, and council chambers, built on the ME 36 condenser capsule. The ME 36 is a slim mini-shotgun head with a supercardioid to lobar pattern, giving it tight directivity and strong rejection of room noise and nearby loudspeakers, which is what keeps a reinforced meeting room intelligible and feedback-free. The permanently polarized element runs on 12 to 48 V phantom power and covers 40 to 20,000 Hz.
This configuration pairs the ME 36 and its MZW windscreen with a MZH 3015 gooseneck for close, discreet placement, a MZT 30 XLR table base, and a MZS 31 shock mount that isolates the capsule from desk thumps and vibration. Output is on a standard 3-pin XLR base, so it drops straight into any mixer channel with phantom power.
