Sennheiser Headmic 1 Omnidirectional Headworn Microphone
The HEADMIC 1, formerly sold as the SL Headmic 1, puts the MKE 1 capsule on a metal frame that weighs 7 g without the cable. Weight is the specification here as much as the acoustics: a presenter wearing one for a two-hour session should stop noticing it, and a 1.1 mm boom is thin enough that a camera does not notice it either.
The omni capsule runs 20 to 20,000 Hz within 3 dB at 5 mV/Pa and takes 143 dB SPL, with 27 dB(A) of self-noise, which is a genuine performance microphone rather than a conference accessory. Order the termination for the transmitter in use, 3-Pin or the EW connector, and the colour to match the wearer: black, beige or silver. For a cardioid pattern where the room is louder, the HEADMIC 4 is the sibling.
